When I began planning my Houston Santa sessions, I knew I wanted beautiful photographs, but I kept coming back to something that felt even more important. I wanted your child to actually experience Santa, rather than spend five minutes being encouraged to sit in the right place, smile at the right moment, and hurry through a list of things we needed to accomplish before the next family arrived.

That is why I intentionally chose a longer session for my clients.

A photograph, taken with intention and care, says something different. It says: this woman existed here. She looked like this. She carried these things. She arrived at this point in her life and she was worth seeing.

That is not vanity. That is documentation. That is the kind of evidence our daughters and granddaughters will one day hold in their hands and feel something shift inside them.
