Boudoir

  • If you’ve been quietly wondering about it, the answer is almost certainly yes.

Boudoir isn’t reserved for a certain age, size, season of life, or personality type. It’s for the woman who wants to see herself differently. The woman who gives so much of herself to everyone else and is ready to step fully into her own presence.

Many women choose boudoir to mark a milestone, as a gift for their partner, to celebrate strength, to reconnect with themselves or to simply see themselves through a kinder lens.

  • You have the ability to choose to do your own hair and make up or be pampered by a professional makeup artist.

  • We'll send you a detailed style guide and talk through wardrobe during our style meeting prior to the session. You’ll know exactly what to bring so you can feel extra confident the day of the session.

  • Your privacy is our highest priority. Our gallery is password-protected and accessible only to you. A few select images may be shared with your permission to help other women in finding boudoir photography.

Maternity

  • The sweet spot for maternity photography is between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage, your bump is beautifully round and prominent, while you still have the energy and mobility to enjoy the session. Every pregnancy is different, so we're always happy to discuss timing based on your specific situation. Book by 20 weeks to ensure you get your preferred date and session time.

  • Absolutely, and we love when they are! Including your partner, toddler, or older children adds beautiful emotional depth to your maternity gallery. We recommend planning for a mix, some images just of you in your gorgeous bump, and some as a growing family. Children tend to do best at the start of a session when they're freshest.

  • We offer both. Our studio sessions in Houston provide a controlled, intimate environment with beautiful lighting regardless of weather. Outdoor sessions take place at stunning Houston-area locations — parks, natural backdrops, urban settings — and offer a different, more organic feel. Many clients combine both styles in a single session for variety.

Family

  • Great news: you don't have to! YOU are the key. We use a relaxed, play-based approach that gets genuine reactions, real smiles, real laughter, real moments, rather than stiff, forced poses.

    We recommend:

    • Scheduling sessions during your child's best time of day (not nap time)

    • Feeding them a good snack beforehand

    • Not hyping the session up too much, casual is better

  • Houston has incredible variety for outdoor family sessions, in studio or your own home. If you’re looking for a location guide, click HERE.

  • We'll send you a detailed style guide and talk through wardrobe during our style meeting prior to the session. We typically recommend to coordinated and not matching!

Choose a color palette of 2–3 complementary tones and let each person express their personality within it. Avoid:

    • Matching outfits head-to-toe (it can look dated)

    • Large logos or busy graphics that distract from faces

    • Neon or overly bright colors

Earth tones, neutrals, soft blues, and warm creams always photograph beautifully. We send a detailed wardrobe guide and schedule a styling meeting after booking.

Couples

  • Not at all.

While I love engagement sessions, couples photography is about far more than a ring. It’s about documenting connection in whatever season you’re in.

Some couples are newly in love and want to remember what this beginning felt like. Some are visiting Houston and want to mark the trip with something more meaningful than a phone photo. Others are celebrating an anniversary, a move, a hard-earned milestone, or simply the fact that they’ve chosen each other again and again.

    I photograph couples who are:

    • Newly dating and want something playful and effortless

    • Engaged and savoring this in-between season

    • Celebrating an anniversary

    • Marking a proposal or vow renewal

    • Moving in together or buying their first home

    • Expecting their first baby and documenting life before it changes

    • Reconnecting after a busy season of work or parenthood

My couples sessions are relaxed, gently guided, and rooted in natural movement. Nothing overly posed. Nothing performative. Just the two of you, the way you naturally are, documented with intention and artistry.

  • Houston has no shortage of gorgeous spots for engagement photos. Click HERE for my top location guide for engagement photography in Houston.

  • Yes. Truly, that’s my job.

Almost every couple tells me this before their session. And almost every couple leaves saying, “That was way easier than we thought.”

You don’t need to know how to pose. My role is to guide you the entire time, with subtle direction, and movement that feels effortless instead of staged.

I focus on interaction over posing. I’ll give you something to do with your hands. I’ll guide where to stand and how to shift your weight. I’ll gently adjust you so you look your best without it ever feeling stiff. Most importantly, I create space for you to relax into each other instead of thinking about the camera.

Awkward usually just means unfamiliar. Once you settle in, it becomes less about being photographed and more about being present with the person you love.

And that’s when the magic happens.

Headshots & Branding

  • If people look you up online before deciding to work with you, you need a professional headshot. This includes:

    • Entrepreneurs and small business owners

    • Real estate agents and mortgage professionals

    • Corporate executives and team leaders

    • Attorneys, physicians, and medical professionals

    • Coaches, consultants, and speakers

    • Anyone with a LinkedIn profile they want to be proud of

A great headshot communicates credibility and approachability before you ever say a word.

  • Headshots are focused portraits typically designed for LinkedIn, company websites, speaker bios, and professional profiles. They're clean, polished, and make a powerful first impression.

Personal branding photography is a more comprehensive visual story of who you are and what you do. It includes images of you working, thinking, creating, connecting, content designed for your website, social media, and marketing materials.

If you have a brand to build, you need a branding session.

  • Dress as you would for your best client meeting. Some guidelines:

    • Wear solid colors or subtle patterns — avoid large logos and busy prints

    • Navy, charcoal, white, and jewel tones typically photograph beautifully

    • Bring 2–3 outfit options that reflect different facets of your brand

    • Make sure clothes are steamed/pressed and fit well before the session

    • Keep jewelry simple unless it's part of your signature style

We'll send you a detailed guide after booking, and you're welcome to bring options and decide together on the day.
